Thank you to everyone in the Encore Handbell Ensemble.

For several years I have attended the Encore programs at the Salvation Army. Each one has served as an inspiration to kick-off the bell ringing season and to energize me as a volunteer.

Your performance this year was absolutely wonderfull...and I really enjoyed the addition of the harp and special ensemble music. The special music provided a delightful opportunity to make room for my ears and senses to absorb more music and then be ready for another hand bell number.

Your enthusiasm for what you do clearly reaches into the audience. You not only provide serious music in an intricate style, but music with joy.

Enclosed is a small donation and appreciation towards helping your efforts to bring music to the community.

Dear Cara,

Where do I begin? Words are not sufficient to express my appreciation and gratitude for the unbelievable concert. It was more than I could have ever dreamed. I am humbled, as I am cetain Shirley would be, to have such a spectacular event honoring her. I thank God each day for having had her as a sister.

I heard nothing but wonderful comments from family and friends. "Reminiscence" was a work of art that truly showed the essence of Shirley.

Encore performed at the Neenah Public Library on December 6, 2009. They were fantastic! They played a lovely selection of holiday music and performed beautifully. Cara gave background on the pieces and the instruments, which added to our enjoyment. Following the concert, they invited audience up to see and ring the bells and were so gracious in allowing people to try the different instruments and answer questions. I was thrilled with the concert - and have already received several requests from our library customers to have them back. Thanks Cara and group for a superb performance!

I don't even read music so I struggle with music at a lower level than you played today.
